PIRATE FLAG (bonus track)

Entirely recorded in Lanciomusic's home studio, "Reels" (2016) has the main intention of capturing the essentiality and energy of a live concert by the duo, "without tricks": for this reason it was recorded live, avoiding as much as possible overdubs and post-production corrections and also preserving any imperfections. The album contains three original songs: "Janis", with the precious participation of jazz singer and vocal performer Boris Savoldelli and double bass player Giulio Corini, is a tribute to Janis Joplin; “Athens” and “Pirate Flag” are two singles released digitally in 2015 that now finally appear on CD. The most substantial part of the album is made up of the covers that have been fundamental for the musical growth and early live activity of the Crowsroads, from The Band to Bruce Springsteen, from Blues Traveler to the Kings Of Convenience, drawing from the best rock, folk and blues tradition. Alongside the Crowsroads, in the sessions appear as side-musicians Antonio Giovanni Lancini (cajon and percussion), Nicola Ragni (bass and organ) and Gianmaria Lancini (percussion). The disc was produced by Antonio Giovanni Lancini and Paolo Salvarani, and recorded, mixed and mastered by Nicola Ragni. It is available in CD and digital format. In the summer months of 2016 the album was also distributed as an attachment to "Giornale di Brescia".
